Questions partners ask us

Business model, geography, supply, execution, consultancy, ROI, export and support.

Business model

What does backend execution mean?

SOLCLIMB works behind the company that owns the customer relationship — typically an EPC, channel partner or sales-led solar company. We deliver the agreed technical scope (engineering, procurement, supply, installation, commissioning, documentation or O&M) while you retain the customer.

Can SOLCLIMB support only part of the project?

Yes. Partners can engage us end-to-end or module-wise — for example engineering-only, procurement-only, kit/BOS supply, installation and commissioning only, QA/PMC or O&M. The scope split is agreed for every project.

Geography

Do you support projects in India, GCC and Africa?

Yes. We support partner projects in India and provide sourcing, kit/BOS supply, technical support and execution support for partners in GCC countries and across Africa. Specific scope depends on each project and market.

Kit / BOS supply

Can EPCs send their own BOM?

Yes. Upload your BOM or specification with the RFQ form. Our engineering desk reviews it, suggests optimisation where useful and quotes against it.

Can alternate brands be quoted?

Yes. Where a preferred brand is unavailable or a better commercial option exists, we can quote technically equivalent alternates for your approval.

Execution

Can you provide installation-only or commissioning-only support?

Yes. Installation and commissioning (I&C) support is available where the partner or customer has separately arranged material, subject to site assessment and agreed scope.

Consultancy

What information is required for feasibility, design or PMC support?

Typically: site location, roof/site drawings or photos, electricity bills or load data, sanctioned load, preferred capacity, any existing design or BOM, and the project timeline. We will request anything else specific to the project.

ROI calculator

Are calculator values guaranteed?

No. Calculator results are indicative estimates for preliminary evaluation only. Actual size, generation, cost, savings, payback and incentive availability depend on the site, tariff category, regulations, utility requirements, system design and the final commercial proposal.

Export

How are sourcing, inspection, consolidation and shipping coordinated?

We identify and qualify vendors, compare quotations, conduct pre-dispatch checks as agreed, consolidate multi-vendor material with project-wise packing and labelling, and coordinate with freight forwarders/CHAs and shipment documentation as applicable.

Support

How are warranty, O&M and service requests handled?

Service requests are logged with our team and handled under the agreed O&M/AMC or warranty-coordination scope — including troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance and coordination with manufacturers.
